You seem to loose your feet, and you mount a boundless realm without horizon. You probably imagine that you are going in the direction of the infinite, whereas you are simply drifting into the incoherent.

Absinthe reviews

The Supreme Icon isn't really an absinthe per se but rather a ready made variation of the classic Hemingway cocktail; "Death in the Afternoon". That is - sparkling wine mixed with absinthe.

It is based on a sparkling wine from Slovenian wine maker Istenic, which incidentally happens to be one of the best from Slovenia (and yes, that actually means it's quite good), and then with Absinthe Supreme from Urbano pleme added to it.

If you've ever tried a Death in the Afternoon maybe you've come to notice that getting the perfect ratio and a really tasty result can be quite hard. Especially since there are so many different types of sparkling wines to choose from and not to mention all the absinthe to pick... Personally I prefer a sweeter sparkling wine together with a nice absinthe blanche on the lighter side.

In the Supreme Icon I must say I was amazed at how well they managed to get a good mix out of it. The sweetness from the Absinthe Supreme is very well handled by the dryness in the wine and they match each other perfectly. The amount of absinthe added to the wine is just enough to give taste but not so much that it destroys the wine. The wine, yes, what about that. Two words - very good. The price on a bottle of this sure isn't cheap as it goes down real quick so it's probably not going to be anyones daily drink but I prefer the Supreme Icon before the plain Absinthe Supreme.
So, an option would be to get a bottle of Absinthe Supreme and some decent Prosecco or Cava and start playing. Which ever route you choose, the Supreme Icon really isn't a bad idea.
